HTR Instructor (and former VATF member) Jimbo Meagher instructs the Rope Rescue class on how to make a Modified Swiss Seat from a single piece of 20' tubular webbing. This harness will later be used to repel from the Fire Tower at Station 11 in Roanoke. Jimbo has also provided training for the Navy's elite SEAL teams.

Rustburg Firefighter Adam Morton administers CPR on the dummy while Brookneal Rescue Squad Instructor Jeaneen Abbott sets up the AED (Automated External Defibrillator). AED's are now located in such public places as malls and can save the life of a patient who is unresponsive and in cardiac arrest.

"Truck Duty" is performed a minimum of twice a month and basically consists of routine checks of the apparatus and equipment. This insures that when you need us, we arrive with our equipment 100% prepared and ready to help.

Bull Bucking in Boonsboro - The Greatest Show on Dirt!
Held at Northwind Stables on Coffee road. 20 live bull riding shows per year. 40 cowboys per show in an indoor area which seats 1200 spectators. Our hats go off to the cowboys. These fearless souls rode their hearts out, each and every one. Great work guys!
